Handcrafted, using time-honoured and traditional techniques. Calakmul Side table features a solid walnut top and travertine base. It symbolises an offering, a reflection, and an allegory of life’s eternal journey and lineage, akin to the cyclical nature of the universe.
This collection draws inspiration from the awe-inspiring architecture and profound spirituality of the ancient civilization “Calakmul” who possessed a unique and deeply rooted connection with the earth, embodying their beliefs through sacred rituals that involved offerings and sacrifices, all centred around the concept of “life for life.”
Calakmul Side Table is a tribute; an offering from the earth to the earth.
