Flat Pack Chair by Goons

Goons is a design studio based in Paris. Focusing on artisanal approach, the atelier is dedicated to exploring simple unique concepts executed with precision. The Flat Pack Chair exemplifies the design language of Studio Goons: angular clarity paired with an exact, understated playfulness. Originally conceived for an exhibition in Los Angeles, the chair was engineered to fit into a flat-pack box, travel internationally as a carry-on, and be assembled on site. Although subsequent iterations have moved beyond those strict dimensions, the piece retains its essential qualities of simplicity, strength, and functional rigor. Its exposed joints articulate both the method of fabrication and the chair’s spatial presence. The size and finish/color are customizable.
